IPOs Bolster the Real Estate Sector

The Real Estate sector on TSX and TSXV saw solid activity in H1 2018.

BSR Real Estate Investment Trust and Minto Apartment Real Estate Investment Trust completed IPOs on TSX in June and July, respectively. The sector surpassed $100 billion in market capitalization and Real Estate issuers on the Exchanges have raised nearly $11 billion in the past two years to June.

In 2018 TSX celebrates the the 25th anniversary of the first REIT in Canada.
