TSX Welcomes Aritzia Inc.
|
Aritzia Inc.'s recent IPO was the 3rd largest IPO on TSX since the beginning of 2015 and the largest globally from an apparel company this year. The Vancouver-based fashion retailer raised $460 million in its fall IPO and joins 13 apparel and accessories companies on TSX and TSX Venture Exchange with a combined market capitalization of $12 billion as of September 30, 2016.
Aritzia commenced trading on TSX on October 3, 2016 and currently has a market capitalization of $596 million, with its share price up 17% from its IPO price as of October 14, 2016.

TSX/TSXV Arrives in California
|
There are currently 23 companies from California listed on TSX/TSXV, including 8 that have gone public since the start of 2015. These companies range from startups to multi-billion dollar businesses in technology, cleantech, life sciences and other diverse sectors.
Given the strong interest in the region, TSX/TSXV recently hired Dylan Gittleman as VP of Capital Formation based in Silicon Valley to assist companies explore capital raising via the Toronto Stock Exchange and TSX Venture Exchange. Dylan can be reached at dylan.gittleman@tmx.com.
