The MiG Report
As at January 31, 2016, there are 3,262 companies listed on Toronto Stock Exchange (TSX) and TSX Venture Exchange (TSXV), with a market capitalization of almost $2.3 trillion.
In 2015, $1.3 trillion in value was traded on TSX and TSXV. In the last five years, more than $267 billion in equity capital has been raised on the exchanges, an average of $53 billion per year.

PDAC Convention 2016
TSX and TSXV look forward to welcoming the international mining community to the annual PDAC Convention, being held in Toronto from March 6th to March 9th. Canada has a global leadership position in the Mining sector. We are proud to be the leading marketplace for accessing equity capital for the Mining sector. In fact, 47% of every dollar raised over the last five years in global public markets for mining companies was completed on TSX and TSXV.
This year our activities at PDAC include:
- Hosting global mining delegations and moderating interactions between our issuers doing business in these jurisdictions
- Market opens on the floor at the PDAC Convention
- A presence at the Investor Exchange at booth #2917
