2015 Recap
194 issuers listed on TSX (107) and TSXV (87) in 2015. Corporate IPOs were up 6% year over year, and IPOs raised 22% more in 2015 than in the previous year. The first five SPACs listed on TSX, raising over $1 billion in their IPOs. $57.7 billion in equity capital was raised on TSX ($54.4B) and TSXV ($3.3B), through more than 1,800 financings.

The World Looks to Canada
Over the last two years, companies from around the world have continued to turn to TSX and TSXV as a platform for raising growth capital. Since the start of 2014, 36 international companies listed on TSX (9) and TSXV (27). Collectively, international companies raised over $8.8 billion in equity capital in the last 24 months on TSX and TSXV. One of the companies to list on TSXV in 2015 was Frankly Inc., a Silicon Valley-based technology start-up that raised $26 million as part of their listing.
