The Luck Of The Irish At CBOE As Daily Volume Sets New Record

A record number of option contracts traded on Thursday, March 16, 2000 at the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE).

A total of 2,336,415 option contracts traded Thursday, topping the previous record of 2,306,900 option contracts, which was set on January 21, 2000.
