The Graph, a leading decentralized protocol for indexing and querying blockchain data, has officially announced the integration of Neo X, Neo’s EVM-compatible sidechain. This strategic collaboration is set to empower developers with efficient access to blockchain data, enabling the creation of high-performance decentralized applications (dApps) and marking a significant milestone in fostering a robust ecosystem on Neo X.
The Graph functions as a crucial indexing layer for Web3 applications, allowing developers to build and publish open APIs, known as subgraphs, which can be queried using GraphQL. Supporting data indexing across more than 55 networks—including Ethereum, NEAR, Arbitrum, Optimism, Polygon, Avalanche, Celo, and Fantom—The Graph is an indispensable tool for developers aiming to create powerful and scalable dApps.
The successful Studio integration of The Graph with Neo X, which has undergone thorough testing, now allows users to build, publish, and utilize subgraphs on the Neo X chain. This integration will enable Neo X developers to seamlessly incorporate The Graph’s indexing and querying capabilities into their projects, resulting in more resilient and user-friendly applications. This advancement is closely aligned with Neo’s long-term mission of being the most developer-friendly blockchain, supporting the vision of a Smart Economy.
“Neo has always been committed to building a reliable and secure platform that empowers developers to realize their Web3 dreams,” said Guilherme Sperb Machado, Council Member of Neo “Collaborating with strong and mature players like The Graph provides top-notch indexing and querying support, further strengthening the foundation for development on Neo X.”
Iris Ni, Director of Asia Business at Edge & Node, The Graph core developer team said, “We're excited to integrate The Graph with Neo X chain, an OG blockchain with a strong community around the globe. This integration makes it easier for developers on Neo X to build and access dApps, while also expanding The Graph's adoption within these key regions. Together, we're driving innovation in the Web3 ecosystem and empowering developers to create scalable solutions that will shape the future of Web3."
