Consequently, derivatives on 50 individual shares may be traded via the Copenhagen Stock Exchange - an increase of 37 Swedish shares, including Nokia and Ericsson B.
The futures and options are traded on the same trading platform and in the same order book as the members of Stockholmsbörsen, Oslo Børs and EDX London use.
The FUTOP Clearing Centre clears and guarantees the contracts concluded via the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
CFO Jan Ovesen said: "The introduction of Swedish derivatives is a significant element of our strategy to enhance the range of products offered to members of the FUTOP Clearing Centre. We expect this new initiative to attract new members and thus improve access to derivatives for Danish investors."
