The Egyptian Exchange’s (EGX) Executive chairman, Mohamed Farid Saleh, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Judge Hossam Sadek, Vice president of the Court of Cassation, to provide specialized training courses for judges of the economic and criminal courts as part of EGX’s program to increase financial literacy awareness.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ahmed Abdel Rahman, EGX’s Vice Chairman, Dr. Sameh Al-Torgoman, former chairman of EGX, and a number of Egyptian capital market figures and representatives of the Court of Cassation.
Mohamed Farid Saleh, Executive chairman of EGX, said that this MoU aims to introduce basics and intermediate courses related to rules and regulations of the Egyptian capital market to the judges of courts of the Court of Cassation giving them more flexibility in issues related to capital markets.
Judge Hossam Sadek, Vice President of the Court of Cassation, welcomed the collaboration because of its positive impact in enhancing cooperation and exchange of experiences on the legal and technical level.
