The Egyptian Exchange Hosts A Delegation From Muscat Securities Market

The Egyptian Exchange (EGX) hosted a delegation from Muscat Securities Market (MSM) during this week to identify the most important working mechanisms in technical departments, such as disclosure and surveillance, and the latest developments in the regulations of companies listing. This comes in the framework of trailing the activation of the memorandum of understanding signed with Muscat Securities Market about 14 years ago, while this is the third training program for the Omani side in Egypt since the signing of the memorandum.
 
For his part, Mr. Mohamed Farid, EGX Chairman, stressed the keenness of EGX's management to cooperate constructively with various international organizations and capital markets, especially from the Arab countries. He also expressed his gratitude to the Omani delegation and to the role of these activities in refining joint expertise and exchanging information to achieve the strategic objectives of both parties.
 
On the other hand, Farid clarified the great interest of EGX to invest in the human element, and to develop the skills and expertise of its employees by engaging them in many training programs locally, regionally and internationally to cope with the major developments and challenges faced by capital markets, also to enhance the position of EGX as a leading financing platform in the region, and diversify the options for various segments and categories of investors.
