Unlisted securities i.e. Over the Counter trading reached US$ 279.74 million (LE 2,162.43 million), which represents 8.32% of total value traded for the month. Additionally, Nilex has recorded a trading value of US$ 5.17 million (LE 39.96 million) during the month.
This is in comparison to August 2015, when value traded of the main market amounted to US$ 2,420.52 million (LE 18,710.89 million), of which shares represented 50.37%, bonds 49.63% and funds 0%. In addition, the OTC trading amounted to US$ 189.18 million (LE 1,462.39 million), i.e. 7.23% of total trading (on- and off-exchange trading), which reached US$ 2,617.06 million (LE 20,230.16 million).
