As stated in the interim report of 16 August 2001, the Board of Directors of the Copenhagen Stock Exchange has decided to investigate the possibilities of a stock exchange listing. This review should be seen in the light of the structural changes which currently mark international stock exchange trading. In addition, the time limited provisions in the shareholders' agreement between the Exchange's shareholders cease to have effect at the end of this year, following which there will be no trading restrictions on the approximately 60 per cent of the share capital which is owned by exchange members.
The Exchange has selected Hawkpoint Partners Limited as its financial adviser for this process.
