Mr. Borish said, "It is truly an honor to be asked to serve on the Board of Directors of the Chicago Board of Trade, a leading global financial institution. I have been involved in many facets of the futures markets for more than 20 years, and I look forward to providing additional perspective as a member of the CBOT Board during this pivotal period of growth in the futures industry."
Mr. Borish has served since 2001 as Senior Managing Director of Business Development of OneChicago, a joint venture of the Chicago Board Options Exchange (CBOE), the Chicago Mercantile Exchange® (CME) and the CBOT established to trade single-stock futures and narrow-based index futures. He is also a principal of Computer Trading Corporation, which was formed to manage assets in the futures markets and which uses trading and risk management models that he created. From 1986 to 1994, Mr. Borish led a team of researchers, traders and systems at Tudor Investment Corporation. He also spent several years at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, where he focused on monitoring foreign exchange futures and options.
In addition to serving on the boards of the FIA and IFM, Mr. Borish was a member of the Presidential Task Force on Market Mechanisms, known as the "Brady Commission," which studied the October 1987 stock market decline. Mr. Borish resides in New York City.
