The Business Times And SMX Collaborate To Launch ‘SMX MARKETS’ Magazine - The Magazine Will Serve As A Platform For Development Of Pan-Asian Commodity & Currency Derivatives Market From Singapore

Singapore Mercantile Exchange (SMX), the first pan-Asian multi-product commodity and currency derivatives exchange, and The Business Times, Singapore?s leading business daily published by Singapore Press Holdings, will be launching a quarterly magazine, „SMX Markets? in 2011.

SMX Markets is dedicated to the financial markets community in the emerging economies of Asia and will include news about developments of pan-Asian Commodity and Currency Derivatives Market from Singapore. The magazine will serve as a platform to connect with thought leaders through comprehensive and authoritative editorial content, covering the key issues and trends in the Asian financial markets.

Mr. Jignesh Shah, Vice Chairman of SMX and Chairman & Group CEO of Financial Technologies Group, signed the agreement of collaboration with Mr Patrick Daniel, Editor-in-Chief, English & Malay Newspapers Division, Singapore Press Holdings at the INVEST Fair 2010 Conference held last Friday (20 August 2010) at the Marina Bay Sands.

Mr. Thomas J. McMahon, Chief Executive Officer of SMX, said: “Our endeavour through SMX Markets is to facilitate market participants to deliberate upon key issues and challenges facing the global financial markets. The incisive articles and discussion topics in the magazine will enable thought leaders in financial markets to make informed decisions.”
