In the context of efforts made by the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) to enhance the competitiveness of the Jordanian capital market and the listed companies, through applying the best international standards and practices, including standards related to sustainability, disclosure and transparency, and in light of the increasing importance of companies’ disclosure of information related to climate change including associated opportunities and challenges, the ASE in collaboration with the International Finance Corporation (IFC) has prepared a draft guidance on climate change-related disclosure.
Based on transparency principle, and with aim to enhance the participation and consultation with all stakeholders in the financial market, recognizing the importance of their opinions and feedback, the ASE has published the draft of the guidance on its website. Therefore, please review and provide us with your feedback via email to: info@ase.com.jo within a maximum period of fourteen days from the date of publication in preparation for its final approval.
