Thailand's MAI Starts Official Trading In Brooker Group Today

Miss Sopawadee Lertmanaschai, acting managing director of the Market for Alternative Investment (MAI), revealed, "Starting trading with the shares of Brooker Group Public Co., Ltd. today will be the first ever official trading on the MAI. The MAI was established with the objective of giving opportunities to small and medium-sized enterprises to raise capital at low cost, and be able to take capital raised from the public to expand and develop their businesses flexibly. Besides this, they also gain the greater credibility from adhering to the standards of being listed company. Businesses listing on the MAI will receive the the corporate tax rate reduction from 30 % to 20 % for five years from the listing date."

Initially, the MAI index will not be calculated as there must be at least 10 securities in the MAI. To follow the trading price of Brooker Group Public Co., Ltd. for which start trading on September 17, investors can follow this information from www.set.or.th where there will be a report of stock prices of both the Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) and the MAI throughout the trading period. Besides this they will be appeared on the stock price reports on ITV and UBC 7. Brooker Group's shares will have the abbreviation "BROOK", from which there will be continuous reports on the securities from the SET from now on.

For investors, trading orders in the securities of Brooker Group will be just as for securities on the SET.
