Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX) announced the launch of two new currency futures on EUR/THB and JPY/THB on November 4, 2024.
TFEX Managing Director Rinjai Chakornpipat said the two new contracts - EUR/THB Futures and JPY/THB Futures are cash-settled contracts. EUR/THB Futures has a contract size of EUR 10,000, while JYP/THB Futures has a contract size of JPY 100,000. Thus, including these new contracts, there will be five currency futures contracts available for trading in TFEX, namely USD/THB, EUR/THB, JPY/THB, EUR/USD and USD/JPY. All currency contracts are available for trading on weekdays from 9:15 to 3:00 hrs. (the next business day).
