The Thailand Futures Exchange PCL (TFEX), under The Stock Exchange of Thailand group, together with its broker members, holds a training program called “TFEX Challenge Academy,” to provide intensive knowledge of derivatives trading, increase trading experiences for investors, and create quality derivatives professionals.
TFEX Managing Director Kesara Manchusree said: “TFEX plans to build the understanding and skills of the new generation who are interested in derivative trading, or aiming to step into derivatives jobs. The TFEX Challenge was created to provide intensive courses and knowledge of derivatives trading both in theory and practice. We have received good cooperation from broker members and experts in the industry to give insights and techniques for investors and participants.”
The TFEX Challenge program, starting from today, consists of three core activities to cope with different levels of expertise and needs. Firstly, TFEX Challenge Academy is an intensive derivatives trading training program, enabling investors to learn virtual trading via internet using the TFEX Click2Win program, as well as finding out about TFEX products, the trading process, strategies to make profit and manage risks, as well as how to use technical analysis. This program is to be held in three sessions and is open for the first-round application from today until March 18.
Secondly, TFEX Challenge Competition is to learn futures and options trading via TFEX Click2Win program, and is a trading competition. The program will provide gurus from brokers as mentors for participants helping them set up portfolios and trading analysis. The winner of this competition will be awarded THB 100,000.
Lastly, TFEX Young Investment Consultant (TFEX Young IC) is an activity for graduate and undergraduate students to prepare them for becoming capital market professionals. Participants will learn about trading, practice via trading simulation, and take study trip to securities firms.
