Date 30/12/2015

The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) has added BEM, a new listed company as a result of the merger between BMCL and BECL to calculate in SET100 index to replace BMCL and BECL; and in SETHD index to replace BECL, for the first half of 2016. SGP, a listed company in the reserve list, will be added in SET100 index calculation in order to maintain the number of constituents, effective from January 4, 2016 onwards.

Bangkok Metro pcl (BMCL) and Bangkok Expressway pcl (BECL) have merged to become a new company named Bangkok Expressway and Metro Public Company Limited (BEM) which has already undergone the procedure of cabinet's resolution (December 8, 2015) and has registered with the Department of Business Development, Ministry of Commerce (December 30, 2015). SET will remove BMCL and BECL from the SET100 index and add BEM to the SET100 index. In addition, in order to maintain the number of constituents in the SET100 index, SET will fulfill the vacancy by the reserve list, which is, Siamgas and Petrochemicals pcl (SGP), having highest market capitalization at closing price of December 28, 2015 (the third day before the day of removing the constituent from the index calculation). Regarding the SETHD, SET will remove BECL and replace it with BEM instead.
