Telenor ASA (ADR) Will Be Added To The S&P ADR Indices

Standard & Poor’s will make changes in the S&P ADR Indices effective after the close of trading on Monday, February 14, 2005:
  • Telenor ASA (ADR) (Norway, NASDAQ: TELN, CUSIP: 87944W105, Sedol: 2687973) will be added to the S&P ADR Index. The company will be added to the S&P Global 1200 Index on the same day.
Telenor ASA, headquartered in Forenbu, Norway, is the largest provider of telecommunications services in Norway and also operates internationally. The number of ADRs for index calculation purposes will be 583,232,349 and the Investable Weight Factor will be 0.46. The company belongs to the GICS (Global Industry Classification Standard) Integrated Telcommunication Services sub-industry.
