This morning, The Mayor of London, Mr. Boris Johnson, accompanied by an economic delegation, was the guest of honor in the opening bell ceremony at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
Boris Johnson, Mayor of London said: "This is an extraordinary place to invest. What we see in Israel in the last few years is absolute education for those of us who are fascinated in the tech sector. In 2014, more Israeli companies went public on the London Stock Exchange than firms from any other place outside the UK and we are open to take with us more Israeli firms."
Yossi Beinart, CEO of the TASE said: "London is by definition the financial capital of Europe and has years of long and fruitful cooperation with Tel Aviv. I am convinced that the relationship will continue to grow and that Israeli companies will continue to be traded in both Stock Exchanges."
