The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) is holding its annual investor conference "Israel Opportunity" on July 7, 2011. Already in its eleventh year, the conference brings leading International investment houses together with the CEOs of some of Israel’s most prominent and promising companies. The conference is designed to expose leading international institutional investors to TASE and to TASE-listed companies. It gives investors the opportunity to become aware of the potential engendered in Israel’s dynamic economy and capital market.
The upgrade of Israel’s capital market to “developed market” status by FTSE, MSCI and S&P coupled with Israel’s economic performance across business cycles renders Tel Aviv a prime destination for large institutional investors focusing on developed market investments - many of which have yet to become familiar with and invest in Israeli companies.
Prof. Stanley Fischer, the Governor of the Bank of Israel will be keynote speaker and will provide insights into the Israeli economy and recent economic developments. Ms. Ester Levanon, TASE CEO, will follow with a review of the capital market and stock exchange activity.
The heart of the conference is the TASE-listed companies. The CEOs of leading Israeli companies drawn from an array of industries will present their companies. One-on-one meetings will also be arranged.
The presenters include:
- Azrieli Group – Danna J. Azrieli, Vice Chairman
- Bank Leumi – Galia Maor, President & CEO

“The annual London conference is a tradition of which we are proud and has become an integral part of our growing international activity. The conference provides investors an excellent opportunity to get up close and personal with leading Israeli companies and provides Israeli companies an opportunity to gain important exposure to London’s financial community”, states Ester Levanon, TASE CEO. “The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange is establishing itself as a compelling destination for international investors. We are confident that this year as well, given the transition of Israel’s capital market to developed market status, the exposure of international investors specializing in developed market investments to Israel’s capital market and to Israeli companies is particularly timely and mutually beneficial.”
