More Than 1,000 High-Tech Jobs at a Dedicated Job Fair to be held on April 18 at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange The job fair, an initiative of three young activists, will have over 20 top companies, including: Nvidia, Wix, General Motors, Nayax, Connecteam, Papaya Global, IAI, Lightricks and more.
Hundreds of thousands of reservists are returning from prolonged service following the October 7 events, many of whom have been encountering difficulties rejoining the labor market, whether due to layoffs and downsizing in high-tech companies or out of a personal desire for change. The MiluimTech team is hosting a dedicated job fair on Thursday, April 18, at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange’s Conference Center. The fair will bring together high-tech companies looking to recruit quality personnel and around 1,000 reservist job seekers. During the event the reservists will meet top companies from the high-tech sector, get feedback and suggestions for improving their resumes from Wix's recruitment team, receive useful insights on the hiring process from expert recruiters and have professional photographs taken for their LinkedIn profile.
The job fair was initiated by three young activists: Shai Goel, an Associate at Sarona Ventures, and Tomer Biton, who came back from several months of reserve duty to find, regrettably, that his position at the high-tech company was no longer available. The two teamed up with Erik Cohen, marketing manager of Sarona Ventures. "This is the least that we can do for the same outstanding people, who have made sacrifices to allow the rest of us to maintain some routine. They are the salt of the earth, good people who should be in key positions," said Goel.
The companies that will participate in the fair come from a variety of high-tech domains, such as microchips, fintech, software, auto-tech, and more. The fair will host global and local high-tech companies, large public companies, and startups, including General Motors, Wix, Nvidia, NAYAX, Akamai, Upwind, Exodigo, Checkmarx, Connecteam, Papaya Global, Matrix, IAI, and more.
To date, the fair has been advertised on social media and reservist groups, receiving an overwhelming response of over 800 registered reservists in less than 12 hours. An analysis of registrants demonstrates that 58% have 2-5 years of experience, 50% have a technological or product-related background, and 25% have a background in marketing, sales, operations, and business development.
The participation of companies and job seekers is free of charge.
Given the expansion of the event’s hours, registration has now been reopened.
