Tehran Stock Exchange Weekly Digest - 23 October 2013

TSE’s broad index grew 0.36% in the working week ended 23 October.

TEDPIX, TSE’s broad index increased 264 units and reached 73030 at the end of the week.

TSE’s First Market index also raised about 1.1%; however, the Second Market index lost 1.18% comparing one week earlier.

During the five working days of the week ended 23^rd October 2013, the Exchange’s total trading equities and rights turnover diminished more than 3% to the total IRR 22.3 trillion*. In the period, nearly 3.93 billion shares were traded in 439226 transactions, which respectively diminished 6.3% and increased 11.7% than its preceding week.

Total number of 130420 participation bonds at the value of IRR 130 billion was traded at TSE in the week which is about 70% more than the prior week.
