TSE’s broad index lost 2.7% in the week ended 15 January.
TEDPIX, TSE’s broad index diminished 2375 points and stood at 85694.1 level at the end of the previous working week. The index’s return reached about 124% from the beginning of the current Iranian year (starting 21 March 2013).
TSE’s First Market and Second Market indices respectively lost 2300 and lost 4040 units, to shrink 3.46% and 2.47% comparing one week earlier.
During the five working days of the week ended 15 January 2014, the Exchange’s total trading equities and rights turnover declined 6.8% and amounted to approximately IRR 21 trillion*. In the period, nearly 5.1 billion shares were traded in 469735 transactions, which decreased 1.6% and 29% than its preceding week.
Total number of 60052 participation bonds at the value of IRR 60 billion was respectively traded at TSE in the week which is roughly 33% less than the prior week.
