TSE’s broad index gained 2.73% in the week ended 11 December.
TEDPIX, TSE’s broad index escalated 2300 points and stood at 86511 at the end of the previous working week. The index’s return exceeded 127% from the beginning of the current Iranian year (starting 21 March 2013).
TSE’s First Market and Second Market indices also gained 1667 and 4643 units, respectively to grow 2.62% and 2.98% comparing one week earlier.
During the five working days of the week ended 11 December 2013, the Exchange’s total trading equities and rights turnover diminished 19% and amounted to IRR 22.7 trillion*. In the period, nearly 5.6 billion shares were traded in 652382 transactions, which respectively narrowed 17% and 7% than its preceding week.
Total number of 195342 participation bonds at the value of IRR 196 billion was traded at TSE in the week which is 10.6% more than the prior week.
