During the fourth month of the Iranian year (22 June – 22 July 2013) equity trading at TSE accounted to more than IRR 121 trillion, which is 162 percent higher than the previous month.
In the period, more than 22.5 billion shares were traded in about 1.5 million transactions, both increasing 140 and 103 percent, respectively, comparing to the third month of the year.
Also 832.7 thousand bonds at the value of IRR 833 billion were traded at TSE with 16 percent increase than the preceding month.
In this month TSE’s broad index gained 6413 units, and stood at 55,329, more than 13 percent higher than one month before. The index return since the beginning of the Iranian Year (21st March) is more than 45 percent.
