Tehran Stock Exchange September Statistics

There were 20 trading days in September and trading value and turnover showed an increase of 26.68 percent and 25.14 percent respectively compared to the previous month. During September a total of 43.9 million shares and rights were traded against turnover of IRR150.7 billion. The TSE All Shares Price Index (TEPIX) continued its growth (by 32.91 points) and stood at 1765.01 at end September. During September shares and rights issues of 169 companies were traded in 26,706 instances showing an increase of 13.29 percent in number of companies traded (158 in August) and a slight fall of 1.01 percent in instances (26,977 in August). At the end of September the market capitalisation of the exchange was IRR33,368.24 billion an increase of 6.75 percent compared to end August (IRR31,256.96 billion).
