Tehran Stock Exchange Re-elected As Member Of Federation Of Euro-Asian Exchanges Executive Board

At the FEAS Annual Meeting held in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, 16-17 November 2016, the TSE was re-elected as a board member of the Federation of Euro-Asian Exchanges. 

The Egyptian Exchange hosted FEAS Working Committee, Executive Committee and General Assembly meetings, attended by the TSE’s international department  in Sharm El Sheikh on 16-17 November 2016. 

As a conclusion of the meetings, Tehran, Abu Dhabi, Istanbul, OMX Armenia, Sarajevo and Palestine stock exchanges were elected as the full members and The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and Central Securities Depository of Iran (CSDI) were elected as the new affiliate members. Additionally, Egyptian Exchange retained in its position as chairperson. Muscat Securities Market was appointed as vice-chairperson and Kazakhstan Stock Exchange as Working Committee chair.

Mr. Serkan Karabacak was appointed as the new FEAS Secretary General. 

Iran Fara Bourse will be the host of the next FEAS meetings which will be held in May 2017.
