The 36th General Assembly of the Federation of Euro-Asian Stock Exchanges (FEAS) was held in Cairo, the Capital of Egypt, on 12 December 2022 and Tehran Stock Exchange suggested establishment of two working committees in the meeting.
According to TSE’s International Affairs report, FEAS held its general assembly with the presence of its members in Cairo, on Monday 12 December 2022.
At the beginning of the meeting, the chairman of the board welcomed the members. Then, the federation’s performance in 2022, and the one-year performance of the secretariat and committees were reviewed by the FEAS’s General Secretary respectively and the 2023 projected activities and budgeting were evaluated and approved afterwards.
Tehran Stock Exchange presented in the event with a high-ranking delegation attentively and proposed establishment of two working committees, including listing knowledge-based companies as well as market-making committees, in which the members’ experience will be reviewed considering their profitable approach in the stock exchanges, attracting other members’ attention.
It needs to be cited that FEAS members consented to acceptance of seven new members in the federation.
Additionally, 2023 calendar of events and determining hosting of the events, such as ConFEAS 2023 and on-site training events were agreed on.
Aiming at investing encouragement in the capital markets to non-professional, the General Secretary introduced “Borsa City” book, guiding novice investors in simple language.
