Tehran Stock Exchange: Paypod, The First IPO In The Persian New Year

A new company was listed on Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE): Pasargad Electronic Payment Co. (Paypod) made stock market debut on Wednesday, 5 April 2023.

Reported by TSE’s PR and Int’l Dept., the Initial Public Offering (IPO) of 360 million shares, equivalent to 12% of the stocks of Pasargad Electronic Payment Company (Paypod), with a notable participation of 1,544,821 trading codes was conducted at Tehran Stock Exchange on Wednesday, 5 April 2023.

Pasargad Electronic Payment Co., one of the subsidiary companies of Pasargad Financial Group, with the responsibility of managing electronic payment services was established in February 2006 and is currently working in FANAP Holding Group. Today, it was listed as 601st company, under the ticker “PYPD” and sector of “computers and related activities” on TSE. It was announced that two hundred and thirty-seven shares, at the price of IR Rials 5,500 per share, were assigned to each participant in the IPO.
