Tehran Stock Exchange Outperforms WFE Members

World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) statistics indicate Tehran Stock Exchange as the top member by market capitalization growth.

In the year ended September 2018, Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE)’s market capitalization gained more than 120 % (in local currency) to rank the first Exchange among WFE members. The amount of growth in USD was around 74 % in the period, which stored TSE’s rank on the indicator in the Federation. TSE’s market capitalization was USD 173 at the end of the period.

The Iranian major securities exchange’s broad index also rewarded the investors with considerable growth rate of 127% during the year ended September 2018.
