Tehran Stock Exchange Monthly Statistics July

In the 21 days of trading in July, a total of 90.7 million shares and rights issues were traded against a total turnover of IRR167.9 billion. Compared with June, these figures indicate an increase of 82.83 percent in volume and a decrease of 33.42 percent in value of trading. At the close of trading in July, the All Shares Price Index (TEPIX) lost 30.41 points from 1,731.83 points on the first day of the month. At the end of the month TEPIX stood at 1,701.42 showing a decrease of 1.79 percent compared to the end of June. At the end of the month, registered market capitalisation stood at IRR30,600.65 billion, around 1.68 percent lower than the figure at the end of June (IRR31,114.10).
