Tehran Stock Exchange June Monthly Statistics

At the end of 19 trading days in the month of June, trading volume and turnover showed a decline of 71.66 and 8.20 percent respectively relative to May. During the month, a total of 49 million shares were traded against a turnover of IRR224 billion. The TSE All Shares Price Index went up 3.15 percent. During the month, shares and rights issues of 178 companies were traded in 34,692 instances, showing a slight fall both in number of companies traded (182 companies in May) and instances (36,282 instances in May) compared with the previous month. As a result the price of shares of 102 companies increased while those of 42 fell. Others (34) were traded without a change in their prices. Registered market capitalisation at the close of trading at the end of June stood at IRR31,114.10 billion, up slightly on the figure at the end of May.
