Tehran Stock Exchange: July 2016 Member Firms' Activities

A report on the brokerage firm activities during the first 4 months of the Iranian year (20 March 2016- 21 July 2016), was provided as below.

There are 109 member brokerage firms at TSE, out of which 102 firms provided on-line trading services in the period. More than 34% of total on-line trading activities was related to top 5 brokerage firms:

Mofid (21.41%),  Farabi (3.72%), Agah (3.38%), Mobin Sarmayeh (3.1%) and Bank Keshavarzi (2.74%).

Overall Market Members trading activities in the period exceeded IRR 463 trillion.

Top 5 brokerage firms in overall trading value include:

Mofid (6.95%), Bank Parsian (4.7%), Export Development Bank ( 3.84%), Bank Pasargad

( 3.35%) and Shakesh Saham ( 2.69%).

About 27% of the overall trading value was executed via on-line trading access, equal to IRR 101 trillion.
