An international financing conference was held on Monday 8 May 2017 in Tehran.
Previously, most of fundraising by the Iranian companies was channeled through commercial banks in the country, however, the major concentration is currently shifting towards the capital market, stated Dr. Hassan Ghalibaf Asl, TSE’s CEO during his speech in the event.
He added, financing via international markets for the local companies is a time-consuming demanding job, which needs perseverance, but will considerably lower financing costs.
The Iranian companies which have eyes on the international markets for financing were briefed about the latest trends and statistics, stringent requirements ,as well as their life after listing or fundraising overseas.
Besides local interest in global exposure among enterprises, the potentials and nature of Iran’s economy appeals to many foreign investors.
In order to demystify the process and to shed more light on the prerequisites related to this practice for the Iranian companies. Tehran Stock Exchange conducted this well-attended event in a partnership with Stephenson Harwood, KPMG and Rostam Investment Bank.
