Market Cap. increased by 41.44% from US$ 10,329.2 million in the 1st quarter of 2002 to US$ 14,610.1 million in 2003.
Index (TEPIX) increased by 35.8% from 3,766.44 in 2002 to 5,114.83 in 2003.
Number of listed companies with 17 new listings reached 338 or increased by 5.3% in the year 2003 from 321 in the year 2002.
Since the recent introduction of the new instrument "Participation Bonds", 1,112 were traded for a value of US$ 71,406.
The daily turnover on the TSE exceeded its highest value on March 18th, during which time 253,021,235 shares and rights worth 1,015,584.8 million rials were traded.
