Mayors from 26 countries from around the world gathered this morning at the Tel-Aviv Stock Exchange (TASE) building for the opening bell ceremony to mark the International Mayors Conference that is being held in Israel.
This is the 33nd time that the conference has been held around the world, and the 7 time that it is been held in Israel.
Jack Rosen, President of American Jewish Congress: “We are delighted to be ringing the opening bell at the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange with the 26 Mayors we are hosting at the International Mayors Conference,” said Jack Rosen, main sponsor of the Conference taking place this week in Israel. “The Stock Exchange is a place of innovation, an epicenter of what we want to show the Mayors this week: Israel’s cutting-edge technology.”
Amnon Neubach, Chairman of TASE’s board of Directors: “Tel Aviv City and its vitality is critical to Israel’s tech industry. It is home to more than 1,500 start-ups, some of which had their origins in various incubators and accelerators strewn throughout the city.
