Date 15/02/2007

The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange is holding its 7th annual Investors Conference in London this year, in collaboration with the Israeli Embassy in London. The conference is scheduled for February 21, 2007.

Top executives of the biggest companies listed in Tel Aviv will have the opportunity to meet with leaders in Britain's investment circles. Indeed, the main goals of the conference are to expose the TASE and its companies to leading international investment institutions, and to showcase the potential advantages of investing in Israel and its financial markets.

The keynote speaker at the event will be Finance Minister Avraham Hirchson, who will be reviewing the Israeli economy and presenting his views on future developments in Israel's capital market. Britain's Ed Balls, Economic Secretary to the Treasury, will also be speaking, as will the chairman of the Israel Securities Authority, Moshe Tery.

Some of the most influential business leaders in Israel will be making presentations at the London conference, including Bank Hapoalim chief executive Zvi Ziv, Paz CEO Moudi Ben-Shach, Bank Discount chairman Shlomo Zohar, The Israel Corporation general manager and president Yossi Rosen, Africa Israel CEO Erez Meltzer, Strauss Group manager Erez Vigodman, Gazit Globe president Dori Segal, and Ormat CEO Yehudit "Dita" Bronicki.

"The stock exchange's Investors Conference in London has become a tradition. This year especially, it goes along with the TASE's drive to expand its international activities," commented TASE chief executive Ester Levanon.

"The Tel Aviv Stock Exchange is where international investors can take advantage of the ample opportunities in the Israeli marketplace – and it combines the advantages of a developing market with the low volatility of a developed one. Indeed, in January 2007, global institutions invested $460 million in stocks listed in Tel Aviv. We believe that the conference will confer an excellent opportunity for the investment community in London to get to know the leading Israeli companies, and the opportunities they offer to global investors," Ms. Levanon added.
