TASE Joined International Organization Of Securities Commissions (IOSCO) As An Affiliate Member

The TASE became an affiliate member of IOSCO, International Organization of Securities Commissions.

In recent years, IOSCO has had an increasing impact on financial legislation and regulation throughout its members' nations – especially developed countries – the European Union, North America and the Far East.

The organization's headquarter is located in Madrid; its membership includes representatives of 110 securities commissions, 11 associate members and 80 affiliate members.

The Israel Securities Authority has increased its involvement in IOSCO and is scheduled to host the organization's annual conference in May 2009 in Israel with the TASE's assistance.
