On Wednesday, November 25, 2020, the Deputy Ambassador of Tajikistan visited Tehran Stock Exchange and met with the Director of Public Relations and International Affairs.
After welcoming the Deputy Ambassador of Tajikistan, Mr. Maroufjan Abdul Rahmanov, Dr. Amir Hamed Rezaie, Director of Public Relations and International Affairs of TSE, stated: “Considering TSE’s +50 years of experience, we are ready to cooperate in the field of capital market, including: specialized training, instrument design, introduction of Tajik counterpart to international stock exchange organizations, mutual investment of both markets’ participants and concluding cooperation agreements between the capital markets of the two countries.”
Referring to the youthfulness of Tajik capital market and expressing hope for the strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, Tajik Deputy Ambassador said: “due to the similarity of the two countries’ spoken languages, holding specialized meetings and cooperation will be definitely expanded more rapidly.”
It should be noted that in Tajikistan, after the collapse of the Soviet Union, a stock exchange was established in 2015 in Dushanbe under the name of Central Asian Stock Exchange.
