Tadawul’s Board Of Directors Elects Chairman And Vice Chairman

The Board of Directors of the Saudi Stock Exchange “Tadawul” convened their first meeting in its fourth round today 16 February 2017. The meeting was held at Tadawul’s headquarters and was attended by all Board Members. This meeting followed the restructure of a new Board of Directors under Council of Ministers Resolution No. (273) dated on 6/02/2017 as follows: 

1-    HE Mr. Abdulaziz Saleh Al-Furaih, representing the Saudi Arabian Monetary Authority (SAMA).
2-    Mr. Abdulrahman Al Mofadhi, representing the Ministry of Finance.
3-    Mr. Suhail Abanmi, representing the Ministry of Commerce and Investment.
4-    Ms. Sarah Al-Suhaimi
5-    Mr. Tariq Al Sudairy
6-    Mr. Ali Al Gwaiz
7-    Mr. Abdulaziz Abdulmohsen Bin Hassan; 
(As representatives of licensed brokerage firms)

8-    Dr. Khalid Husain Biyari,
9-    Mr. Rayan Fayez;
(As representatives of companies listed on Tadawul)

At the beginning of the meeting, Members of the Board of Directors expressed their sincere gratitude and appreciation to HRH the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman Al Saud, HRH the Crown Prince Mohammad bin Nayef Al Saud, and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman Al Saud for their trust and for this honorable opportunity to serve the Kingdom’s leadership and meet its expectations. 

After viewing the agenda and regulations related to the Board’s governance, Members nominated Ms. Sarah Al-Suhaimi as Chairman of the Board of Directors, and Mr. Abdulrahman Al Mofadhi, as Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors.

The Board concluded the meeting with expressing its sincere appreciation to former Chairman and Vice Chairman, as well as all departing Board Members for their continuous efforts and achievements during the period of their membership and wished them more success and prosperity.
