TABB Group CEO Bruce Morris announced today the acquisition of Securities Operations Forum from The Summit Group in its continuing effort to broaden TABB’s strategic information resources and services available to the financial services industry. TABB Training will be led by training industry veteran Ledia Koka.
“For more than 20 years, Securities Operations Forum has enriched the educational and professional stature of over 50,000 existing and aspiring executives in the financial services markets,” said Morris. “By combining TABB Group’s international market expertise, consulting services and research content offerings in equities, fixed income, derivatives, futures, cryptocurrency, fintech and regtech, along with our deep market reach, will allow us to provide new and enhanced training programs to individuals and companies through a wide offering of classroom, custom and virtual-training programs.”

Securities Operations Forum has offered open-enrollment courses focused on topics of interest to operations professionals in the financial industry. The small size of classes encourages students to interact with instructors, all practicing professionals in the industry. Students have enrolled from banks, broker/dealers, investment managers, funds, consulting firms and vendors. Courses have included: Introduction to the Securities Industry; International Issues; Corporate Actions; Capital Markets; Portfolio Management; Managing Risk; Financial Management; Fixed Income Securities; Accounting, Regulatory & Management; Derivatives; and Mutual Funds.
