Sydney Futures Exchange Signs A Memorandum Of Understanding With The Shanghai Futures Exchange

The SFE today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Shanghai Futures Exchange (SHFE) to record the intention of both Parties to assist one another generally in the performance of their regulatory responsibilities and to make arrangements for a sustained training initiative on the understanding that this may lead to more extensive co-operation in other areas.

Peter Hiom, General Manager Business Development said, "Discussions have commenced regarding arrangements for the SFE to provide SHFE with detailed insight to its experience of developing debt and interest rate as well as equity index derivatives markets".
