SWX Swiss Exchange: Possible Suspension Of Trading In Two Securities Due To Violation Of Reporting Obligations

Date 12/07/2002

Despite their having been admonished, the following companies listed on the SWX Swiss Exchange have failed to submit their annual report 2001 by the prescribed deadline of 30 June 2002:
  • Habsburg Holdings Ltd., Tortola (British Virgin Islands)
  • Pelham Investments SA, Genève
It is also being investigated whether these companies have made their annual reports avail-able to the public. Based on Art. 79 of the Listing Rules, the SWX will suspend trading in the aforementioned securities as of Friday, 19 July 2002, unless the companies submit their annual report to the SWX by 18 July 2002, 4:00 pm at the latest and provide proof that the annual report was published in conformity with the law.

Trading in the securities of these companies will resume as soon as they have complied with their reporting obligations.

The SWX has taken these measures for reasons of investor protection and transparency in the capital markets.

The initiation of sanctioning procedures remains reserved.
