SWX Swiss Exchange: Nobel Biocare AG Opens At CHF 100

The shares of Nobel Biocare AG were traded today for the first time on the SWX Swiss Exchange representing a total market capitalization for the company of CHF 2.4 bn. According to the offering prospectus 24'005'242 shares were registered in the Commercial Register. Nobel Biocare develops, produces, and markets dental implants and IT-based industrialised dental prosthetics. The company operates two business units: Dental implant, which makes permanent replacements for lost teeth; and Procera, which produces dental copings and dental bridges using a unique computer-aided design/computer-aided manufacture (CAD/CAM) based manufacturing process. Nobel Biocare AG employs 1'328 individuals and recorded in 2001 revenues of SEK 2.7 bn.
