SWX Swiss Exchange: Ad hoc publicity: Formal Investigation Initiated Against Logitech International S.A.

In connection with the publication of the quarterly results (third-quarter report) 2001 of Logitech International S.A. on the 22th of January 2002 which may have resulted in a potential violation of Art. 72 of the Listing Rules, SWX Swiss Exchange has initiated a formal investigation. The duration of these investigative proceedings has not been de-termined. SWX shall provide information as to the outcome of its investigation. How-ever, no information will be made public with regard to the ongoing investigative pro-ceedings.
