SWX is pleased to announce that Albert Halter will succeed Leo Hug as Head of Corporate Communications at the SWX Swiss Exchange on 3 January 2007.
Until recently, Albert Halter has been responsible for external communications at Barry Callebaut. Before that, he held various management positions at Swiss Re in the areas of internal communications, public relations and client communications. From 2000, he was the company’s Head of Group Marketing Communications in New York for two and a half years, ensuring that the company had a uniform presence in North America. Following this, he was responsible for internal and external communications of Swiss Re Asset Management.
Albert Halter’s career in communications began in 1989 with Mövenpick Hotels International. He studied at the University of Zurich and acquired a doctorate on the basis of a thesis on advertising theory and design.
