SWX Indices: Adjustments To SMI® And SMIM® Composition And SPI® Small/Mid/Large Breakdown

The Management Committee of the SWX Swiss Exchange has decided to make changes to SWX index baskets on the basis of a recommendation from the Index Commission and in compliance with the SMI® and SPI® Regulations.

The indices will be adjusted on 29 September 2006 after closing. The adjustment takes effect on the first trading day of October (2 October 2006).
