SWX: Debut Of ShaPE Capital Inc.

The shares of ShaPE Capital Inc. traded for the first time today in the segment for investment companies. The price was set on Monday evening at CHF 200. The opening price of the shares stood 1% above that level in SWX trading, representing a market capitalisation of CHF 139 million.

According to the listing prospectus, 685,000 shares of the total 686,000 registered shares recorded in the commercial - are the result of a capital increase. The company's investment objective is to achieve long-term capital growth by investing in a well diversified pool of private equity vehicles. Investments shall be diversified in terms of geography, financing stage of the underlying investments, industry and time. Not more than15% of its total assets may be committed in any single investment vehicle at the date of such commitment.
