On 23 and 24 October 2008, the second Swiss structured products fair will be held at Kongresshaus Zürich. It will be staged by Scoach Switzerland Ltd and the Swiss Structured Products Association (SSPA). The organisers have also decided to hold the first Salon Romand de la Finance in Geneva on 29 and 30 October 2008 in conjunction with FONDS’, Switzerland’s biggest financial fair.
Even in the current volatile market environment, investors are showing a strong interest in structured products. The steadily growing selection offers a wide range of suitable products for any market opinion. The need of investors for information on the workings and uses of these collective investment instruments is increasing in accordance with the variety of the products.
When the structured products fair premiered in October 2007, it proved to be the ideal platform for imparting specialist knowledge and presenting the wide variety of available products. Last autumn, 4,500 institutional and private investors visited the fair and attended the many speeches, training seminars, presentations and roundtables.
Marc Zahn, CEO of Scoach, said: “The positive results of the first fair have inspired us to repeat it in 2008”. The second structured products fair will be held on 23 and 24 October 2008 – again at Kongresshaus Zurich. Exhibitors can register until end-February 2008.
In addition, Scoach Switzerland Ltd and the Swiss Structured Products Association (SSPA) are organising the first Salon Romand de la Finance in cooperation with the organisers of FONDS’, which in the past ten years has enjoyed great success. The joint financial fair will be held at the Centre International de Conférences Genève (CICG) on 29 and 30 October 2008. According to Roger Studer, President of SSPA, “as a centre of asset management, Geneva is the right location for expanding the successful fair concept and our information offensive”.
